Estate Planning
Estate planning is an important part of an individual’s financial well being. The firm represents to a wide range of individuals and families in their estate planning needs. Working with our clients and their accountants, as necessary, the firm provides guidance in creating an estate plan which will reflect the client’s planning goals. After consultation with the client and their accountants, when necessary, the firm will work to create a plan which meets the particular needs of the client and to the extent possible, limits the client’s estate tax burden, preparing the necessary documents, including wills, trusts, health care proxies and powers of attorney, to effectuate the client’s wishes., including both simple and complex wills, trusts, insurance trusts, health care proxies and living wills and powers of attorney.
We also provide services in the probate of wills or administration of estates and estate litigation when necessary.
Litigation
The firm’s litigation practice includes advice and litigation when required involving clients’ personal issues. Just as we do for our business clients, we provide aggressive representation but also make every effort to find alternative resolution if possible to avoid litigation expense.
Real Estate
We also represent individuals in the purchase and sale of residential real property, including condominiums and cooperatives.
Family Law
The firm represent litigants in matrimonial and family law matters from inception through appeal, with an emphasis on avoiding protracted, costly litigation whenever possible.
